Help with paying by credit card via PayPal

PayPal enables us to take payment either via PayPal for people with a PayPal account, or via credit cards for people who don't have a PayPal account. However the process can be confusing so hopefully this guide will help people to get to the right screen to make their payment. 

When you have finished adding items to your basket and its time to checkout. you will be asked to enter your shipping details.

Step 1 – Enter your shipping details and select continue

Step 2 – Click on PayPal checkout

This  will open the PayPal pop up 

NOTE: Ignore the fact the heading says log in to PayPal . You do not need to have a PayPal account to continue from this screen

Step 3 – Enter your email address

Step 4 – Click on Next if:

1. You don’t want to create a PayPal account but want to pay by card

2. You already have a PayPal account

(If you want to create a PayPal account, click on create account and follow the instructions )

If you don't have a PayPal account you will be taken to a screen to enable you to enter your personal and card details.

Step 5 – enter your personal details:

1. Country

2. Email address

3. Mobile number

Step 6 – Enter your card details and click on ‘Agree and continue’ button on bottom of the page. You do not need to create an account to do this 

 If your email address is already linked to a PayPal account then it will take you to a log in screen when you complete step 4. If you have forgotten your password please click on the forgotten password link and follow the instruction on screen.
